Margarita Machine Operation Instructions
For single and double flavor machines
Important Machine Facts:
1.
Machine must be plugged into a 20 amp. 110 volt dedicated
circuit. The machine will not freeze if it doesn't have the
right power.
2.
All countertop machines must be kept on their feet at all
times.
Starting
Up the Machine:
Do Not Start the Machine Without Min in it!!
1.
Keep ALL ingredients cold. The colder the mix the faster it
will freeze.
2.
Prepare your mix, as per the instructions, in the bucket.
3.
Pour the mix from the bucket into the top of the machine.
4.
Plug the machine in and turn it to auto (toggle switch on
the front of the machine).
5.
The mix should start to slush in approximately 60 minutes.
If it does not, the power is not correct. Plug the machine
into the correct power and try again.
Using
the Machine:
Make sure that you can see mix in the top of the machine at all times!
1.
If you are making a second batch, mix up your second batch,
as per instructions, right away and keep the mix cold. The
colder the mix, the faster it will freeze.
2.
Keep adding mix to the machine as the product is used.
Cleaning
the Machine:
Don't forget to clean the Bucket!!
1.
When you are through serving, turn the switch to clean out
(toggle switch on the front of the machine). Put cold water
in the machine and drain out until ALL product is out of the
machine. Do not leave any product in the machine
2. Mix the Cleaning Solution (Small Package of Steri-Sheen) with 2 gallons of warm water. Make sure the cleaner fully dissolves. Pour it into the machine. Turn the machine to wash for a minimum of 5 minutes. Drain the solution out of the machine. Run clean water through the machine. Turn the machine off. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth until clean. Make sure no sticky mix is left on the outside.

Salting the Glass
If you want salted glasses, pour coarse salt—sea salt or specially colored margarita salt—in a shallow dish. Run a lime wedge over the edge of the chilled glasses, one glass at a time, quickly touching the edge of each glass into the salt. Too much lime or too much time basking in the salt results in an overly salty rim—so be careful! Fill the glasses carefully, so the margarita mix goes right into the middle and doesn't disturb the salt ring. Place a lime wedge, strawberry or other friuit wedge on the glass rim as garnish.
